Yesterday was a tough day. I had a tennis match in the morning, an appointment with my ophthalmologist after lunch and another tennis match in the evening. I am trying to get some exercise before my next surgery next week. After a month of no lifting, no bending, no exercise and then eating deserts on my birthday I gained weight and my shoulder is killing me, I have to keep it moving or the pain is bad. So naturally, when I got in the car yesterday morning, it wouldn't start, and it was in the middle of the driveway, so I couldn't get the truck out of the garage. I called my friend Helen and she came and picked me up and took me to the game. Then, when we finished playing Helen, Elaine and Kathleen came back to the house with me to try to jump up the battery. First we had to roll the car back so we could get at the battery, and so that I could get the truck out if that failed. It failed, so after taking a bath and changing, I took the truck to my doctor visit. After the doctor visit I came back to the house and called GEICO. They sent over a truck to haul my car where ever I wanted it to go. I had changed the battery at Sears, so in case it was the battery, I took it back there, even though it is quite a way away. When I got there I called Ravi, in case they took too long fixing it, so that he could pick me up on his way to the tennis match. then he could drop me off to pick up the car on his way home. The guy looked at the car, and found out the problem was that the battery was not hooked up properly, the wires were not connecting. It could have broken down at any time since the battery was installed. I was very lucky that it broke down in the driveway, though it did make for a very difficult day. I called Ravi back and told him, never mind I would see him at the tennis court. Playing was very difficult because my depth perception is way off, but at least I got some exercise, after Wednesday I will be stuck on my butt again for a month, and this time I won't be able to read or work on the computer, because I will have no vision close up, so I need to take care of everything before the surgery. After the surgery I will be stuck watching TV, again.

That does sound like a tough day. I'm glad we were there while you feeling good and could see and all the vehicles were working.
Just a week ago today we left! What a great visit.
Time flies. So glad you enjoyed your visit, come back soon and often.
