a cold front came in

Last week a cold front came in, I didn't watch the weather channel before going out to play tennis and played in the cold with a gale force wind, wearing my summer tennis clothes. As a result I have been suffering from pain in my ears and neck ever since, so today, even though the cold is gone, and it is back in the 70's, I had to play wearing a scarf round my head to keep my ears warm, and another round my neck. My friends all cracked up, because they were wearing summer clothes and I was wrapped up like a mummy.
