I finally finished hauling furniture up and down stairs, and the downstairs bedroom is now ready for my next visitors. What do you think M & M, better than a mattress on the floor don't you think? I found that cute little footstool and the silk drapes at my usual treasure trove, oh yes, the bedspread too. Now that my friend is gone I have time to search through the garage for all the stuff I stored in there when I moved in, I have never had a chance to go through it. I knew that somewhere in there were the pieces I needed to put up the drapes, and after two days I finally found them. Yea! It will take forever to go through all that stuff and sort it out.
How do you like my trumpet vine? it is very prolific. Sadly so are the weeds.

thanks sweetie, I really didn't think it would work, the couch is so big and I can't move it, so I took out the bookcase and just pushed it all the way down, took the sewing machine away from the window and pushed the bed as far as it would go, and voila. I wanted to take the bookcase upstairs, but finally had to admit I couldn't do it, so it is stuck in the corner of the foyer. come back and christen my new bedroom.
We will move that bookcase for you next time we're there. Looks great!! And comfy too!
