for some reason the blog can only handle one picture at a time, so I will start with this one, and later add more. Sushama arrived Wednesday with her daughter and a friend. It was so good to see her, it has been two years since her last visit. She has so many friends here that I invited many of them to the house for tea yesterday. Prior to that Ravi and Vydia came over for Thanksgiving, I didn't know Sushama would be visiting when I invited them, but it worked out great because both Vydia and Sushama are vegetarians, so I had made vegetarian lazagna, and squash soup instead of the traditional turkey. Ravi is not a vegetarian so he picked up some turkey and brought it with him. We all had a great time, then later Sushama wanted to take her friend to see downtown, the French quarter, St. Charles Ave etc. Let me see if I can get another picture in here. Then we went to Karen and Jason's house to join their celebration of their 25th wedding anniversary, as with all partys at Karen's house there was enough food for an army, one side of the table was American food, the other side Indian food. I headed straight for the Indian food, which I miss so much now that Sushama no longer lives here. It was so great to see so many old friends and we had fun. Then we went to see some more friends the next day, and they they came over to tea at my house. I don't remember squeezing so much into so little time, it was wonderful, come back soon, Sushama
