I'm back, but my phone doesn't work

The first picture is of my tennis friends from Olney, where I used to play when I lived in Rockville, and where I used to go back to play whenever possible. When John and Steve were single, I used to go up and spend the summer with them and play tennis with them and my friends. The other pictures are of me with Norma, and her husband Robert and their neighbors, we had a wonderful time, it is so good to see old friends. Norma and Robert are old friends from Italy, where we had such a wonderful time. I hope to see them down here soon. I got back in midnight on the 10th. I had 20 messages on my phone but they were not decipherable, my phone has been broken ever since I got back with terrible static on the line or no dial tone. Sometimes as I sit here on the computer my answering machine will say 'sorry I'm not here' but the phone does not ring. So to the 20 people who left me messages, so sorry, I can't call you back because I never got the messages. I called AT&T immediately, but of course no one has shown up, what else is new. I do have my cell phone but it is very temperamental. Norma's neighbor is German and came over on the Bremen, one month before I did, so it must have dropped him off turned round and gone back to pick me up, what a coincidence. Now I have to try to get back in shape as quickly as possible after my lazy month. I played tennis on Wednesday but I was awful, my legs just didn't want to run, I have been to the gym twice, using less weights, but I hope to get back in fighting shape soon. I did my step class and my body pump class, both times, and walking and biking, so hopefully next week I will be back in good shape. Good enough to kick AT&T's butt.
