Another storm

Wow, here comes another storm. Just like yesterday, it was lovely all day, hot and sunny, then, around 4;30 it turned dark, then the thunder started, then lightening, then around 5;00 all hell broke loose, and the rain came down, well, really, it was so strong it came sidewayse. I'm glad I wasn't out in it. I have been on my back for a week. My back went out last Tuesday, and I have been taking medication ever since that has made me sicker than the back pain. I love to watch storms here. In England it used to rain most days, gentle rain drops to keep everything nice and green. Here, it is like a wild beast. So, should I turn on the lights so I can read my book? or keep the shades up and watch the storm?
