Mardi Gras

The weather is a disaster. My friend Norma had planned on driving down with friends for Mardi Gras, but the snow in the DC area has pretty much made that impossible, and even if they made it the weather here is miserable, it is too cold to be outside. It doesn't seem to have slowed the celebrations down, especially yesterday at the parade for the Saints, which was unbelievable, but for me it is not worth it. We played tennis this morning in the freezing cold, and I seriously questioned my sanity and decided not to venture forth again till the temperature goes up and the wind goes down.
