Airports and hurricanes.

That is John at the coffee bar in the airport in Barbados seeing what we can get with our remaining Barbados dollars, which will be of no use to us after we leave, there is Andrew waiting for his muffin. I love the flying fish which decorate the airport. Then the airport in Miami, also decorated with fish.

I arrived back in Louisiana Sunday evening, to find two of my fig trees torn out by the roots laying on their sides, and tree limbs covering the back yard. Yesterday I spent the afternoon dragging the limbs to the curb for collection. It could have been much worse. Hurricane Gustave was so strong that a picture was slammed off the living room wall and I found glass shattered all over the living room. Some of the things on the window sill in the kitchen were in the sink. That was a really fierce wind. I will go take a picture of the tree limbs.
