Yesterday I went out and voted for a Republican, a guy I know nothing about, just so that I could vote against the incumbent. He won, so now we have a Vietnamese Republican representing us in Congress. He has got to be an improvement, right? How could he be worse? He is the first Republican to win in 80 years, so I guess the majority of the people are as angry as me. He is also the first Vietnamese to win a place in Congress. So now we have an Indian governor, and a Vietnamese Congressman. I believe that makes us the most diverse state as far as government goes. Way to go Louisiana. The talking heads are saying the Republican party should come here to find out how these guys did it. Nonsense, they didn't do it. It isn't hard to win when you run against a guy who has been indited.

On the way I past a gas station offering gas for $1.49, so of course I doubled back and filled up.
