Can you believe? still no hot water. The first plumber came out and worked on the hot water heater. He replaced an element and said I should have hot water in 30 minutes. No hot water. So he checked it out and figured out that the water was flowing in and out of the hot water heater too fast to heat up. There must be a leak. It must be in the slab. Great. So back on the phone with the warranty company, they found a specialist and he came out. He checked the house and said well, you have at least one leak, maybe more. We are going to have to go into the pipes in the kitchen, maybe through the wall in the dining room, we may have to re route the pipes to the laundry room and the back of the house. We will have to cut off some pipes and find out where the leak or leaks are. They are coming back Monday to start tearing up my house. My lovely new house. Not so lovely any more. I just hope I get hot water soon.
