Amelia

Yesterday afternoon, my friend Ann called and asked if I would like to go see a movie. Sure. So we went to see "Amelia". What a disappointment. I love Hilary Swank, but there was nothing in the movie for her to "get her teeth into". I found it very bland and uninteresting, 2 gliomas. Plus there were glaring errors. When she landed in Wales, they had a group of locals, including nuns, there to see the famous Amelia. There were no nuns in Wales! By the way, my father was one of the people who went to see Amelia. To add insult to injury, the price of seeing the movie was double what it was last time we went. DOUBLE! We couldn't believe it, we won't be going back there. They said they no longer give discounts. They sure didn't publicize that. For locals, that was Elmwood, no more senior discounts! and no more matinee prices! What a rip off!
