Fall has arrived
Fall has arrived. Yesterday it was 92. This morning I got dressed for tennis - shorts and sleeveless top, ran out the door , drove to the court, then when I got there and had time to stop, I found out it was cold and windy. The wind was so strong that it was almost impossible to get the ball over the net. I had a tennis jacket with me but it wasn't enough to keep me warm, so as there were four other crazy tennis players there, I left them to battle the wind, and came home, where it is nice and warm.

So you're saying it was the wind that kept you from getting the ball over the net?
right, when you serve into the wind the ball would get almost to the net then turn round and come back. some wind.
