Ida is a hurricane again
Ida is a hurricane again, for the second time. It is currently moving over the Yucatan peninsular and Cuba. It is projected to increase in strength as it comes into the Gulf. It was originally projected to turn right before hitting the coast, but the most recent projection now has it coming ashore in Mississippi and then turning east. The coastal area of south east Louisiana is preparing for high tides, and we all expect bad weather Monday and Tuesday. It is late in the season and the water in the Gulf is not warm enough for it to grow that much. We will all continue to monitor its progress.
