Museum exhibit in Llanelli, South Wales

A number of years ago, my parent's neighbor, who worked at the museum in Llanelli, put together an exhibit of Llanelli families who emigrated from Llanelli before World War II. He chose three families, his own, his grandfather emigrated to the US, my parents, who emigrated to England and a family that emigrated to Russia. As part of the exhibit, he used photos of the families, items that they took with them from Llanelli, and he recorded them telling their life histories. His father returned to Llanelli during the depression, my parents returned after they retired, I don't know what happened to the family that went to Russia. I went to see the exhibit with my sister when we went back to Llanelli together after my mother died. Today, when I was putting things away in my office in preparation for the upcoming visit by my children and their families, I found the disks, which he had kindly given to me and my brother and sister after my parents died. What a beautiful gift, I spent the afternoon listening to them, it was just like having them here in the room with me. I must do that for my children.

Tomorrow I will be playing tennis again. I pulled a muscle while playing on Friday, I hope it doesn't give me any trouble tomorrow.
