busy, busy, busy. My old friend Sushama arrived last Saturday, the 19Th, it was so good to see her. Back in 2005, we evacuated together for Katrina. We drove up to Monroe, and stayed with friends of friends of Sushama's, then when the levees broke, went our different ways, to stay with family members, I went to Virginia, Sushama to Florida. When Sushama returned to Louisiana her house was fine, but my condo was uninhabitable, and it was not possible to enter the city of New Orleans, so she opened her home to me, as well as to other friends who had no where to stay. I really enjoyed staying with her and her friends, it was a truly enjoyable experience and showed me that even the worst disaster can have an upside. She stayed with me till yesterday when she moved to another friends house, so that I could get ready for my kids to visit. They arrive tomorrow and the next day. Merry Christmas to everyone.
