Well, yesterday the rain got worse and worse, at 2.5 inches per hour it was much faster coming down than the pumps could handle and many areas flooded, but fortunately, here in Kenner it slowed down in the evening, and Sharon and I were able to get to the party which was also in Kenner, and only one road was partially flooded. It was a great party. Many of the people couldn't make it because they lived in flooded areas and couldn't get out, poor things. Today it is nice, and it is warming back up.
