This is the new (for me) bookcase, as you can see it is a work in progress, the little cart is still there, and the thing that was moved to the other side of the room has been stripped of all those ugly looking games, which will now be hidden in the bottom of the book case behind those doors, and I have started to fill it with plants. The spiky looking plant on top is my pineapple, how would you like some home grown pineapple? I did paint the second side of the new shelves, so tomorrow I will start on the staining. It is funny, when I first left England to start my travels all my worldly belongings fit in two suitcases, and all I needed was a bed, and now I am still busy fixing my house two years after moving into it. Of course back then I was young and much too busy working, going to school and having fun to care where I lived. Now I spend more time at home so it would be nice if it looked good. Life changes. Long life changes us.
