I left Seattle Sunday afternoon, flew into Charlotte, arriving in the wee small hours in Charlotte, without sleeping, the seat was too uncomfortable. After waiting at the gate for a couple of hours, they decided to change gates, so in my semi conscious state, I took off looking for the new gate. Waited a few more hours. I finally got on the plane, by which time I was so tired I kept nodding off, but every time I nodded off, my head fell back and woke me up. So I guess I dropped off and woke up a hundred times, arriving in New Orleans at 11:30 Monday morning. I got a taxi arriving home around mid day. I got into bed and hoped that finally I could sleep. It is now 10:00 Tuesday, so I guess I was tired. I'm too old for the red eye.
There will be more photos after I take care of "stuff".

You are a fearless flier Freda. I am a total wuss in the face of that kind of airline seat suffering.
rest well!
Sounds grueling, but I'm glad you finally made it home OK. You'll recover!
For me, your hardship was worth it. We really enjoyed having you here.
thanks Mark and kateco. Yes, it was well worth it, I would do it again a million times, though next time I will try to find a daytime flight. It was so great to see you guys, thanks for the invitation and thanks for the wonderful visit. see you soon in New Orleans.
