It is still cold, but something more interesting is now in the news. Jefferson Parish President Aaron Broussard has resigned. It has not been long since Jefferson Parish Chief Administrative Officer Tim Whitmer was squeezed out. The Jefferson Parish Council instructed Deputy Parish Attorney Louis Gruntz to continue the investigation into Whitmer's private dealings with Parish contractors. Broussard claims his resignation is not related to the investigation into Tim Whitmer, however, he also gained from the contractors who were awarded contracats with the parish. hmmmm
