Phunny Phorty Phellows kick off Mardi Gras season
Mardi Gras season is underway, but it is so cold, the area is experiencing the lowest temperatures in 14 years. That may not seem so bad for my kids in Massachusetts, Colorado, Virginia and Washington State, but for us it is us down here. We did play tennis however, complete with sweaters, jackets, coats, ear muffs, hats, gloves and scarves. We looked like a bunch of abominable snowmen.
